Kerala’s well known pilgrim center POOMKAVU CHURCH has celebrated ASH WEDNESDAY with solemn celebration of the Holy Eucharist and blessing of the Ashes.
At the end of the celebration the parish priest Rev.Fr.Shaiju Pariyathussery blessed the newly renovated grottos of the Way of the Cross. A good number of parishioners attended the ceremony.
കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധ വിശുദ്ധവാര തീര്ത്ഥാടനദേവാലയമായ ആലപ്പുഴ പൂങ്കാവു പള്ളിയിലെ തപസ്സുകാല ആചരണം ഇന്നു രാവിലെ നടന്ന വിഭൂതിബുധന് ആചരണത്തോടെ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ദിവ്യബലിക്കുശേഷം നടന്ന ചടങ്ങില് പുതുക്കി നിര്മ്മിച്ച കുരിശിന്റെ വഴി ഗ്രോട്ടോകള് വികാരി ഫാ. ഷൈജു പര്യാത്തുശ്ശേരി ആശീര്വദിച്ചു.
